Legal notice

Who is behind Acotario and the conditions under which you may use this website.

Last updated: 17 October 2026 · This English version is provided for convenience; if it differs from the Spanish version, the Spanish version prevails.

01Owner of the website

In accordance with article 10 of Spanish Law 34/2002 of 11 July on information society services and electronic commerce (LSSI-CE), these are the details of the owner of this website:

Owner
[TITULAR]
Tax ID (NIF/CIF)
[NIF/CIF]
Address
[DOMICILIO]
Email
[EMAIL]
Registry details
[DATOS REGISTRALES]
Website
acotario.eu

The service is not subject to prior administrative authorisation and is not the practice of a regulated profession: Acotario is a reference and drawing tool, not an architecture service.

02Purpose and acceptance

This legal notice governs access to the website acotario.eu and the Acotario web application (together, “the website”): an interactive library of sheets with usability and comfort dimensions for architecture and interior design, with project folders and drawing exports.

Browsing the website makes you a user and means that you accept this legal notice. Use of an account is also governed by the terms of use, the processing of your data by the privacy policy and cookies by the cookie policy.

03Conditions of use

You agree to use the website lawfully, diligently and in line with this legal notice. In particular, you must not:

  • damage, overload or disable the website or the systems that host it, or try to access restricted areas, accounts or data;
  • extract its content in bulk or by automated means, or reuse it to build a collection, a database or a competing service;
  • impersonate other people, or publish or transmit unlawful content or content that infringes the rights of others;
  • introduce viruses or any other harmful code.

04Nature of the information

The dimensions, ranges, drawings and notes in the sheets are guideline usability and comfort values based on ergonomics, anthropometry and good professional practice. They are not building regulations and do not constitute technical advice for any specific case.

They do not replace professional judgement or compliance with the applicable regulations — in Spain, among others, the Building Technical Code (CTE) and regional and municipal accessibility and habitability rules. Always check the regulations in force where the project is located; responsibility for a project lies with whoever designs and signs it.

05Intellectual and industrial property

The website and its content — texts, sheets, criteria, drawings, illustrations, source code, graphic design, trade name and logos — belong to [TITULAR] or to third parties who have authorised their use, and are protected by intellectual and industrial property law.

You may use the drawings you export in your projects under the licence set out in the terms of use. Any other reproduction, distribution, public communication or transformation of the library, or of a substantial part of it, requires prior written permission.

“Acotario” and its logo are distinctive signs of their owner and may not be used without consent.

07Liability

We work to keep the website available and its content accurate, but we cannot guarantee that it will be free of interruptions or errors. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damage caused by interruptions or technical failures, by harmful code that could not be detected with reasonable measures, or by use of the information beyond its guideline nature. If you have an account, the applicable conditions are set out in the terms of use.

08Governing law and jurisdiction

This legal notice is governed by Spanish law. Disputes will be brought before the courts that have jurisdiction under the law; if you act as a consumer, before the courts of your place of residence.
